For years we have worked hard and it is a pleases for us to see the development of the new generation of US cyclocross riders that all have a bit of the Blue blood in there veins. Amazing work boys! We are proud to have you all as part of the family.
Major Taylor
It was great to return to Major Taylor, where Caroline Mani last raced in 2018. This year’s event provided a perfect blend of competition and enjoyment, offering a more relaxed atmosphere. The course was fast and dry, adding an extra layer of challenge and excitement.
On the first day, Caroline had a fantastic start, setting a strong pace from the beginning. She launched an early attack, gaining an advantage over Lizzy and maintaining a clean race to secure a powerful victory, earning her the first chalus trophy.
The second day saw similar conditions, with an added challenge of stronger winds and a shorter course. Despite the increased difficulty, Caroline remained persistent, finally breaking away from Lizzy after three laps to clinch another win and her second chalus trophy for the weekend.
A double victory and two chalus trophies for Caroline! Now, the team is headed to Cincinnati for another exciting weekend of racing.
USCX SERIES ROUND 4: Waterloo, WI
Really Rad Cyclocross festival in Falmouth MA, was an absolute blast, wrapping up seven weekends of consecutive racing as we push for strong performances before taking a brief reset to gear up for a big November block.
Caroline dug deep and found her inner fire, battling her way to the podium on Saturday. On Sunday, she gave it everything in a fierce effort to claim third, only narrowly missing out in the final three corners, finishing a strong 4th.
Kerry Werner took a couple of weeks off to focus on a solid training block, getting ready to come back stronger for the November racing schedule.
We’re thrilled with the season so far and can’t wait for what’s next!
USCX SERIES ROUND 4: Waterloo, WI
The final weekend of the USCX Series took place in Waterloo, WI. After three consecutive weekends of racing, we could feel the fatigue, but the excitement was still there.
Saturday’s race was hot and very dry. Despite a mediocre start, Caroline fought her way up to contend for 3rd place but cracked in the final half lap, finishing strong in 4th against some world-class European racers.
Kerry Werner was unstoppable, expertly managing the race to take the win over the young rider Andrew. We are incredibly proud of him, and the fans were thrilled to see him back on the top step.
Day 2 was all about the fight for the general classification. Caroline had a tough day but gave everything she had to earn valuable points.
Kerry put in another impressive performance, narrowly missing a second consecutive win, finishing 2nd. However, this secured an incredible 2nd place overall in the series.
Our masters rider, Jim Scheel, raced well and gained confidence throughout the weekend. We can’t wait for more.
Caroline will be racing in Indianapolis while Kerry is staying at home to reset and focus on second part of the season.
USCX SERIES ROUND 3: Charm City, Baltimore MD
USCX Series Round 3 - Baltimore Recap
We arrived in Baltimore hoping for wet conditions, and while we had a bit of slick terrain on Saturday, the hot 80+ degree weather dried out the course quickly. The pre-ride conditions were nothing like the race itself, which turned out to be super hot, humid, and hilly—challenging for all riders.
Caroline fought hard on Saturday, pushing herself onto the podium. Kerry also delivered a strong performance, finishing in 4th place.
Sunday brought cooler temperatures and slightly wetter conditions, making the course more technical. Unfortunately, Caroline had to pull out early due to severe ankle pain, which had been bothering her all week. She managed to push through the discomfort on Saturday but wasn’t able to continue on Sunday.
Kerry had a great start and secured another solid top-5 finish. Both riders are now headed home for a short recovery before the final round in Madison.
Kerry is currently ranked 3rd in the USCX Series standings.

Rochester Cyclocross is a staple on the US Racing calendar, often regarded as a classic. The organizers consistently do an incredible job creating a course that is both physically demanding and technically challenging, closely mirroring the European style in terms of difficulty and race dynamics.
It was another fantastic weekend for the team. Our teammate Denise Watson raced in the 50+ category and dominated, winning both days.
On the first day, Kerry and Caroline fought hard, both finishing just shy of the podium with 5th place finishes in a highly competitive field. It was a great effort, with both showing strong form.
Day two saw Caroline pushing for a podium spot, holding her position until 2 laps to go. She managed to drop her group and secure an impressive 4th place finish. Kerry was in contention for the win but was set back by an unfortunate mechanical issue. He rejoined the group in a dramatic effort, giving everything in the last half-lap and finishing 5th.
We’re incredibly proud of the team’s performance and excited for the next round in Baltimore!

Groove Off Road Racing kicked off the USCX Series with a stellar performance at the first round in Roanoke, VA.
On Day 1, Caroline Mani started strong and powered her way to another podium finish. Kerry Werner, returning to cyclocross, also made his mark with an outstanding second-place finish, showing he's hungry for more this season.
Day 2 brought continued success. Caroline fought hard to extend her incredible podium streak to 12 in a row at Go Cross, a testament to her resilience and determination. Kerry once again put in a commanding performance, securing another second place.
