BLUE continues to build upon a foundation of producing world-class caliber racing machines through a combination of refined carbon fiber, wind tunnel developed tube construction, rider comfort and a relentless commitment to aerodynamics. BLUE continues to enhance the art of offering bikes with a seamless balance between speed, power, efficiency and rider comfort.
Where it Began and Where we are Now
BLUE’s roots started in 2004 outside of Norcross Georgia with a vision of developing new innovative carbon-fiber bikes. At that time carbon-fiber bikes for the average person was in its infancy and out of reach for most. Now BLUE located with its headquarters in Lafayette, just outside of Boulder, Colorado, develops a full line of carbon-fiber bikes that are lighter, faster and more affordable than ever.
Our partner factories overseas give our company the ability to make the highest-quality framesets using industry-leading carbon, bring them quickly to market, and at competitive prices. BLUE’s primary market is North America and we design, assemble the bikes and quality-control our products in the USA.
We sell directly to consumers offering online ordering and customization of our bikes through the website so we can give you the most flexibility in what your bike looks like, get you the best price, and give you direct support. Additionally we partner with a select group of bicycle shops that showcase and sell our products. These shops offer superior local support and service to our customers and have the experience and expertise to provide bike fit recommendations, bicycle component comparisons and test rides.

Blue Competition Cycles with its president Orli Chinea Martin established new headquarters in 2018 with its offices and warehouse now located near Boulder, Colorado.
The new location gives us more flexibility in inventory control and an enhanced ability to quality-control the assembly of each bicycle. We feel these benefits along with the move helping remove some of the unneeded costs from the supply chain is a big boon for our customers and our business.”
