Sarah Crowley takes 2nd at New Caledonia

We had another great weekend of racing for our athletes.

The previous weekend, the big news was Tina Pic and Christina Gokey-Smith took 5th and 6th place at the U.S. Criterium National Championships. This was a big result for the new team!

Yesterday, the huge result was Kate Doughty winning the Penrith ITU Paratriathlon. With this win, she won the selection bid to represent Australia (and Blue) in Rio at the Paralympic Games in September. This is a very big deal!

Sarah Crowley took 2nd place at an Olympic distance triathlon in New Caledonia in the South Pacific.

We have a couple of big weeks ahead for racing. The Happy Tooth cycling team is having its team presentation this week. This weekend, we have Clayton Fettell racing Ironman Australia looking for Kona points and a strong placement there. David Mainwaring is racing Ironman 70.3 Busselton in Western Australia near Perth. Chris Leiferman is racing the Wildflower triathlon in California, one of the most well know non-Ironman brand half-Ironmans in the country.

The following weekend is just as big, first with AJ racing his first full-Ironman at Challenge Taiwan! I’m heading to Taiwan at the end of this week to race Challenge Taiwan as well. Also that weekend, Ellie

is racing Ironman 70.3 St.George in Utah which is the U.S. Pro Championships. Paul Matthews will be racing Ironman 70.3 Mallorca in Spain (Orli’s home turf). Paul has gone to Mallorca for over a month to prepare for Ironman Brazil at the end of May. He’s left his family to train in isolation for a month to be 100% ready for Ironman Brazil.

More great racing to come!
